Bamnet Narong Potash Deposit
According to surveys conducted by the Department of Mineral Resources, the Bamnet Narong potash deposit consists of carnallite (KC.MoCI₂.6H₂O + NaCl). The deposit area is primarily characterized by an average mineral layer thickness of more than 15 meters. Most of the mineralization is located at an average depth of just 100-250 meters from the surface. These two factors are considered highly favorable compared to other potash mines. The mineral reserve in the area covered by the mining concession for the ASEAN Potash Mining Project is estimated at approximately 430 million tons. The portion of this reserve that can be mined is estimated at 158 million tons, which is sufficient for the mining operations throughout the 25-year life of the concession.
